True Blood The Complete Third Season – [2010]

True Blood : The Complete Third Season (2010)

Season 3 was every bit as satisfying and heart wrenching, all that I hoped for. But, Season 2 was sorta all over the place and bringing in a monster that really didn’t belong irked me to no end I was VERY happy when Sam finally took care of that problem. Now, I was really happy to see the back story for Erik and for Russel’s involvement in the deaths of his family and finally Bill is seen for the Jerk that he really is.Then again they had to change what should have been and let Sookie forgive him?

The Walking Dead – Season One

The Walking Dead : Season One

I read the first 12 issues of Robert Kirkman’s epic graphic novel The Walking Dead back in 2006. Late fans to the story can now pick up the first 48 issues of the graphic novel in a convenient single work titled The Walking Dead: Compendium One. As of today, Kirkman has published 80 issues in the series (that I now anxiously check my mailbox for every month).

Mad Men : Season Four (2010)

Mad Men : Season Four (2010)

The fourth season of MAD MEN, the best American dramatic television show of the last decade, begins with Don Draper (Jon Hamm) and his ex-wife Betty (January Jones) both allowed what seems to be a fresh start: newly divorced from Don, Betty has married the handsome politico Henry Francis, while Don has started a new upstart advertising firm headquartered in the Time-Life Building with his old bosses at Sterling-Cooper. Yet neither Betty nor Don finds themselves able this season to make the break with the past they might have hoped: Betty insists on keeping her children in the old home in Ossining, while Don’s shame over his divorce brings him further and further down as he drinks more and more heavily, as his new firm struggles to find its feet.

Burn Notice Season Four – [2010]

Burn Notice : Season Four (2010)

Burn Notice seasons 1 & 2 set the bar high. This action-packed, smart, funny and well-acted spy show not only felt authentic, but it was brilliantly acted by the ensemble cast getting their teeth into well-written characters.

Season 3 dipped in quality a little – mainly because the ongoing conspiracy story was by now starting to become so complex as to beggar belief. Still, there were many individually terrific episodes. Unfortunately, season 4 continues the downward trend with the addition of “Jesse” to the cast of characters.
